In July 2023, 50Hertz hosted its annual company assembly and summer festival at Berlin’s iconic Tempodrom, welcoming over 1,200 employees. The marqueur GmbH agency, specializing in live communication, entrusted not only the execution but also the full conceptualization of this large-scale event, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience that balanced impactful content with a seamless and enjoyable atmosphere. The event’s scope was extensive, featuring a striking stage design and the integration of a live stream to make the proceedings digitally accessible. Outside, the creative transformation of the venue’s outdoor areas provided a vibrant setting for the summer festival, with diverse culinary offerings from numerous catering stations. Additionally, a dedicated after-show party space within the venue included a live band, offering employees a relaxed and celebratory conclusion to the day. Multifaceted Role as Concept Developer, Project, Production, and Event Director: As the lead for concept development, project management, production, and event direction, I oversaw every aspect of the event from initial ideation to flawless execution. This included crafting the overall vision for the event, shaping its structure and “look and feel,” and ensuring its alignment with 50Hertz’s objectives and values. My role also involved directing the four-hour stage program, ensuring a dynamic and engaging flow that captivated the audience. The production posed unique challenges, including tight setup and teardown schedules and coordinating employees performing on a large stage for the first time. Addressing these complexities required precise technical pre-planning, detailed scheduling, and close collaboration with all stakeholders. The seamless integration of creative vision, technical expertise, and organizational precision was critical to delivering an impactful event. From concept creation to event direction and day-of execution, every detail was designed to provide an unforgettable experience for attendees while celebrating the achievements and community of 50Hertz.
