BERLIN MARATHON EXPO 2022

In 2022, the BMW BERLIN MARATHON EXPO took place on the expansive grounds of the iconic former Tempelhof Airport. Acting as production lead, the role involved providing comprehensive support to SCC Events GmbH, navigating a variety of logistical and operational challenges. These ranged from handling intricate administrative tasks to meeting the unique technical requirements of exhibitors. The event’s tight setup and teardown windows posed significant challenges, demanding detailed planning and flawless coordination. Successfully managing a diverse group of stakeholders, including exhibitors, technical crews, and service providers, required clear communication and quick decision-making to address any emerging issues. A key aspect of the project was ensuring that exhibitors with specialized technical needs were seamlessly integrated into the overall event concept. This included sourcing and deploying tailored technical solutions while maintaining consistency across the event. Additionally, balancing logistical constraints, streamlining workflows, and adhering to venue regulations added further layers of complexity.
